KidSCope operates two year round center-based early childhood programs for children ages 2-5. One is located in Orange County (Hillsborough) and the other is in Chatham County (Siler City). The programs operate an "inclusion" model for children who are typically developing and those with or at risk for developmental disabilities in a 50/50 ratio. Services include educational/developmental activities, parent education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, transportation, and before and/after school care. Both centers have Five Star Child Care Licenses from the North Carolina Division of Child Development and a six to one child/ teacher ratio in each class. An Early Head Start program is offered at the Siler City location for children birth to three and their families who qualify. Staff are specially trained in infant-toddler education and provide a four to one child/teacher ratio.
